Relatively fast, room curing systems that require no post curing, but can be accelerated with moderate heat for faster curing.

The Hapflex elastomers are low viscosity, making them easy to handle and pour, while providing such precise duplications of surface detail that they are suitable for reproducing the finest detail and surface finish.

Mechanical Applications

In addition, the Hapflex elastomers are virtually shock resistant and unbreakable, making them ideally suited for permanent molds, parts or master patterns that will not crack or chip during use or storage.  A major advantage is the superior abrasion resistance properties of the Hapflex elastomers. Applications such as precision tracing patterns, roll coverings, fixtures, blending tools, and a variety of foundry applications, are ideal.

HAPFLEX 700 & 800 products are a series of low hazard, colorless, high strength, elastomers
available in Shore hardnesses from 65A to 72D.  HAPFLEX 700 & 800 products exhibit high
tensile strength, high tear strength, and excellent elongation. All HAPFLEX 700 & 800 products
cure at room temperature and can be accelerated with heat.

Another key attribute of the 700 & 800 SERIES is that the base color of all components is colorless.

For user convenience, HAPCO has designed this series in 2 speeds so the user can “customize“ production rates and cure times.

HAPFLEX 700 & 800 SERIES can be used for mechanical, electrical, and mechanical/electrical applications.  In addition, HAPFLEX 700 & 800 products show superior water immersion properties and superior adhesion when used in combination with Hapco's one part PRIMER 200.

• A series of low Shore A durometer (hardness) flexible elastomers.

• Cure quickly and do not exhibit long cure times typically associated with low hardness elastomers.

Products are used in:

• (Mechanical applications - i.e. parts, gaskets, molds, and fixtures)

• ( Electrical insulations - i.e. potting and encapsulating)
