Aluminum Conductites  LOW COST  THERMALLY CONDUCTIVE FILLER

  • Metal granules that have been ground, sized and treated for increased bond strength.

  • Designed to be used in combination with HAPCAST CASTING RESINS to form a high strength, high thermal conductive, low shrink backfill for castings such as, mold and tools.
  • CONDUCTITES and the Hapcast polymer systems have been chemically altered so maximum strength is achieved.
  • The combination of CONDUCTITES and Hapcast polymers are designed to be a working system, maximizing strength, durability, and toughness.
  • Used in combination with Aluminum type HAPCAST products. (HAPCAST 3731, 3732, 3734, 3737, ULTRACAST AL)

MIXING:

After the Haprez and Hapcure have been mixed, add to the Fill-It and slowly mix well. Some common techniques for mixing are; by hand, a dough mixer, a high viscosity pail mixer, or a cement mixer.  Pour and tamp in place. To reduce and/or eliminate air entrapment, use rubber gloves for protection. For best results, use vibration, while pouring and tamping in place. Use a simple vibrating table or clamp-on vibrator.  Excellent results are obtained by curing the casting in a pressure vessel, at 60-80 psi.

SURFACE:

For best results, use two coats of a Hapcoat surface casting before coating the Fill-It mixture in place. Choose a Hapcoat, based on the  properties required on the surface. Hapcoat is compatible with Haprez/Fill-It mixtures.

STORAGE:

These polymer systems have a minimum shelf life of six months when unopened. Both components should be stored in a room temperature, dry place. When not in use, containers should be kept tightly closed.

PRECAUTIONS:

Skin or eye contact with polymers should be avoided. Clean housekeeping procedures are urged and the use of gloves and/or protective creams suggested.
All polymers, as a general practice, should be used in well ventilated areas. Spot ventilation is most effective. Contaminated clothing should be removed
immediately and the skin washed with soap and water or waterless skin cleaner. Should accidental eye contact occur, wash thoroughly with water and consult a physician.
